It’s like ‘American Idol’ for smart people
Reading over this list of international great minds on Foreign Policy, I was pleased to see that I was familiar with many of them, and made of mental note of others to get to know.
For the record, I voted for Umberto Eco, Slavoj Zizek, Orhan Pamuk, Ian Buruma and Fareed Zakaria. (Sorry Balk, as much as I enjoy your tumbl’d rants, I didn’t write you in. But good luck beating ol’ Brillo-headed anyhow!)
Please don’t let me lose to that little bitch Gladwell.
