I sense this is the beginning of a long love affair with my new turntable and the nerdy purchases I make for it. Exhibit A: Neutral Milk Hotel’s In an Aeroplane Over the Sea which arrived this afternoon from Amazon. It sounds so warm and lush on vi…dammit! The fetishizing is starting already. For those keeping track at home, my other purchases so far have been The Decemberist’s Castaways and Cutouts, The Shins’ Oh, Inverted World and Give Up by Postal Service. See what I mean by nerdy?
